5 Quarterbacks to Draft at a Discount in 2025 Fantasy Football
JP
Finding value at quarterback can be the difference between a good draft and a league-winning one. These five QBs are either going far later than their upside suggests—or offer a perfect blend of ceiling and draft-day flexibility. Here's why they're worth targeting at their current ESPN ADPs.
🔹 Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys)
QB14 | Overall ADP: 130 (Round 11) | Fantasy Forecast 2025 Rank: QB11
Dak may be coming off a down year, but the data strongly suggests a bounce-back is coming. In seasons where he’s played at least 10 games, Prescott has finished as a top-7 QB in points per game all but once (QB14 in 2022). His career PPG finishes: QB4, QB7, QB7, QB3, QB1 (in 5 games), QB7, QB14, QB5, QB21 (injury-shortened).
He’s nearly always been a fantasy QB1 and still has one of the league's top receivers in CeeDee Lamb. At QB14, he’s a low-risk, high-reward play with elite upside.
🔹 Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers)
QB19 | ESPN ADP: 153 (Round 13) | Fantasy Forecast 2025 Rank: QB10
If Love were going earlier, he’d be a risk—but in the 13th round, he’s a no-brainer stash. Just one season ago, he was fantasy’s QB5 and showed flashes of elite arm talent and poise. He fits the mold of previous late-round league winners: think Brock Purdy and Love in 2023, Geno Smith in 2022, Baker Mayfield in 2024.
You don’t need to start him Week 1, but he’s the kind of late-round lottery ticket that can win you a league if he hits.
🔹 Bo Nix (Denver Broncos)
QB8 | ESPN ADP: 67 (Round 6) | Fantasy Forecast 2025 Rank: QB6
Nix isn’t a bargain-bin pick, but he’s being drafted as a mid-range QB1 with a chance to be much more. Already finishing as QB7 as a rookie, Nix combines a strong arm with mobility and poise. His rushing upside gives him a solid floor, and getting him in the 6th round lets you stack skill players early while still landing a dual-threat QB with top-5 potential.
🔹 Drake Maye (New England Patriots)
QB18 | Overall ADP: 148 (Round 13) | Fantasy Forecast 2025 Rank: QB14
People are sleeping on Maye, despite the fact that he was the No. 3 overall pick just a year ago. He has elite arm talent, and the Patriots surrounded him with upgraded weapons—including the exciting early second-round pick, RB Treveyon Henderson and Stefon Diggs, who joined the team this offseason.
You don’t need to start Maye Week 1, but he’s exactly the kind of bench stash with breakout upside you want in deeper leagues or superflex formats.
🔹 Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals)
QB9 | Overall ADP: 89 (Round 8) | Fantasy Forecast 2025 Rank: QB8
Kyler may seem risky, but he’s never finished outside the top 12 QBs in points per game in his career. His rushing ability gives him a built-in weekly floor, and if he stays healthy, he’ll almost certainly outperform his draft slot.
With an ADP in the 8th round, he’s easy to build around and carries top-5 QB upside if things click in 2025.
✅ Final Thoughts
Whether you’re looking for a late-round stash (Love, Maye), a discounted proven producer (Dak, Kyler), or a breakout dual-threat stud (Bo Nix), these quarterbacks offer tremendous value at their current ADPs. Don’t overpay for name value—draft for upside at the right price.
